Ryan C.'s Four Color Apocalypse reviewed four of my mini-comics: Capsule Comic Reviews : Catching Up With Maggie Umber. Ryan calls Pit Bull Eyes one of the year's very best comics and compares So Many Ways to Joe Kessler's THE GULL YETTIN. Of Strange Star he says "LOOKS and FEELS very much like something Coleridge would have come up with if he were an artist as opposed to a writer."

There are plenty of laughs baked into the cake --- quite literally --- in this installment and, needless to say, it looks like nothing else that's even been attempted in the comics medium before. It shares the same high-quality production values as PIT BULL EYES, but beyond that? The two books couldn't be more different. All that matters in the end, though, is that they're both fantastic.
