Summary

So Many Ways follows a baby loggerhead sea turtle. The turtle's survival is far from assured as it makes its way from the nest to the Gulf Stream. It avoids common predators like ghost crabs and brown pelicans. The comic is a single sheet of paper that folds out to reveal a full-color illustration of the turtle's path.

Reviews

SO MANY WAYS - We've got a fold-out mini this time, following the Gulf Stream journey of a loggerhead sea turtle, that qualifies as a pretty interesting little experiment in that it's a complete (albeit brief) narrative "arc" committed to a single sheet of paper. I got a little bit of a Joe Kessler vibe off this one in that it's not so dissimilar, either visually or tonally, to THE GULL YETTIN, even if it's (quite obviously) a hell of a lot shorter, and it's pretty remarkable how immersive it is for such a small-scale project.
