The 17th Henderson Hummingbird Hurrah is a one-day annual event sponsored by Henderson Feathers (nonprofit 501c3) to celebrate the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Free events will promote the understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird for people of all ages. There will also be speakers, hummingbird banding, Hummingbird Garden Tour, educational displays, food vendors, craft vendors, children’s activities, raffle prizes located in Bender Park and in the Henderson Hummingbird Garden . . . watch for signs!!

This is the SEVENTH year of INSERT NAME COMICS & ZINES FEST, the Twin Cities' longest continuous-running FREE non-profit comic and zine fest, proudly at home on the farthest fringe of the far fringes! Once again, our show will be held at SQUIRREL HAUS ARTS, located at 3450 Snelling Ave. So., Mpls., MN, rain or shine --- but we are hoping for shine, of course! New artists and returning friends will be on hand for this TRUE grassroots event, held this year over TWO DAYS on Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th from 12:00 - 6:00PM. Special guests DAVID TEA, SEAN KNICKERBOCKER (RUST BELT REVIEW), and TRINA FERNANDEZ!
